As a Maintenance & Reliability Ford Champ , you will report directly to the Maintenance Engineering Operations Team . You will serve as the project driver for the digitalization, automation, and operational deployment of the Maintenance Control Center directly executing the Global Maintenance Operating System (GMOS) to close gaps and achieve Level 3 (World Class) in the Lean Maturity Model (LMM) .
Requirements
Active student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Systems/Data Engineering, Robotics , or a related engineering field.
Fluent English (90% / B2-C1 equivalent) with strong technical communication, writing, and presentation skills (capable of presenting to plant and global leadership).
Technical Knowledge
- Data Visualization & Analytics: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel (Power Query, DAX, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Digital Tools: Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint list management, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps is a plus).
- Maintenance & Reliability Fundamentals: Understanding of MTBF, MTTR, Availability/OEE, Planned Maintenance Compliance (PMC), Preventive Maintenance (PM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
- Lean Manufacturing & Problem Solving: Familiarity with Lean/5S concepts and structured root cause problem solving methodologies (4D, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone).
- Industrial Systems (Desirable): Basic awareness of Enterprise Asset Management / CMMS (IBM Maximo / MFM) and manufacturing telemetry/SCADA

- Excellent cross-functional communication skills; comfortable interacting with floor technicians, supervisors, and team managers.
