About this role

The CE-1 equipment is already installed. Accordingly, the role is no longer focused on covering installation activities; it is focused on operational readiness, including risk assessment, validations, open-item closure, controls, training, and documented readiness for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Currently enrolled in (or recent graduate of) an Engineering, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or related program.

- Basic knowledge of industrial safety principles, risk analysis (JSA/RA), or interest in machine guarding, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene (preferred, not required).

- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to track multiple open items/action logs simultaneously.

- Effective communication and coordination skills to work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, MP&L, FPS, and Maintenance.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., action item logs, punch lists) is a plus.

- Availability to be present on the plant floor to support installation, commissioning, and validation activities as needed.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, depending on plant requirements.

What the Champ Will Gain

- Hands-on experience supporting a manufacturing launch from a Safety and Health perspective.

- Participation in WSR follow-up and coordination of EPT and JOB1 milestones.

- Exposure to risk assessments, validations, machine-safety controls, and corrective-action tracking.

- Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, MP&L, FPS, and Maintenance.
