## Job Summary:
The Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) Lead HVAC/Cleanroom Engineer will lead commissioning and startup activities for HVAC and cleanroom environmental systems on semiconductor projects. This role ensures air handling, filtration, pressurization, and thermal control systems are installed, tested, commissioned, and turned over to support tool installation and production ramp-up. This position is accountable for HVAC and cleanroom commissioning from system definition through turnover. Scope includes make-up air units, recirculation air units, fan filter units, air handling units, chilled water systems, hot water systems, humidification and dehumidification equipment, exhaust systems, scrubber systems, and associated control sequences. The role verifies cleanroom spaces meet design requirements for ISO classification, pressure cascade, temperature, and relative humidity under operating conditions.
This lead role directs and mentors commissioning engineers and technicians, coordinates with engineering, construction, QA/QC, vendors, and owner operations teams, and serves as the primary technical point of contact for HVAC and cleanroom systems during commissioning.
The ideal candidate will possess the following leadership behaviors aligned with Bechtel’s Behavioral Framework:
