About the Role
We are looking for an Enumerator to support the Marketing team in collecting consumer and market data in the field over a 3-month period. The role will be responsible for conducting face-to-face surveys and interviews with respondents, ensuring that data is collected accurately, consistently, and on schedule to support business and marketing decision-making.
What will you do:
- Conduct face-to-face surveys and structured interviews with target respondents in the field, following the approved questionnaire and research guidelines.
- Identify, approach, and screen respondents according to the agreed sampling criteria and quotas.
- Record responses accurately and completely using digital survey tools or paper forms.
- Support qualitative fieldwork when required, including note-taking, recording, and logistics for consumer interviews and focus group discussions.
- Ensure data quality by checking each completed interview for completeness and consistency before submission.
- Meet daily and weekly fieldwork targets and submit progress reports to the research lead.
- Document field observations, respondent feedback, and any issues encountered during data collection.
- Coordinate with the research team, external research partners, and on-site stakeholders when required.
- Maintain respondent confidentiality and follow research ethics and company guidelines at all times.
What will you need:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree in any field; Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, or related fields are a plus.
- 0–2 years of experience as an enumerator, surveyor, field interviewer, or in a similar data collection role.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable approaching and talking to people from diverse backgrounds.
- Detail-oriented, honest, and disciplined in following questionnaires and procedures.
- Familiar with smartphones and digital survey tools (e.g., Google Forms, KoboToolbox, or similar).
- Able to work in the field with high mobility across Jabodetabek, including outdoors and at varying hours.
- Owns a motorcycle and a valid SIM C is a must.
- Comfortable working independently and managing daily targets.
Preferred:
- Previous fieldwork experience with a market research agency, survey institution, or consumer-facing company.
- Experience interviewing consumers or field workers (e.g., drivers, couriers, merchants).
- Familiarity with Indonesian consumer behavior and local communities in Jabodetabek.
