About the Role
As a Vineyard Operator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality fruit through the safe and efficient operation of vineyard equipment and the completion of a broad range of viticultural activities. Working as part of a skilled and autonomous team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting vineyard operations across multiple sites.
- Operating vineyard machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Trellis maintenance and vineyard infrastructure repairs
- Irrigation management and soil improvement activities
- Pest and disease monitoring
- Canopy and fruit management
- Maturity sampling and yield estimation
- Harvest preparation and logistics support
- Maintaining accurate vineyard records
- Contributing to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Experience operating agricultural or vineyard machinery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Sound organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
- A current driver’s licence
Experience working with vineyard robotics, autonomous equipment, precision agriculture technology, or related vineyard innovation programs will be highly regarded.
