The Opportunity
The position serves as the product specialist for Horizontal Grinding Mill technologies within the Market Area. Working closely with Account Managers, customers, and global product support teams, this role is responsible for developing sales opportunities, building pipeline growth, delivering value-based solutions, and supporting the successful execution of sales strategies across Western Australia.
Based in Perth, the role combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and customer engagement to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the product expert for horizontal grinding mills, providing technical guidance and support to customers and Account Managers
- Lead and support sales activities for the grinding mill business across Western Australia.
- Develop sales campaigns, opportunity pipelines, and growth initiatives in partnership with the sales team.
- Contribute to business forecasting through effective pipeline management and market intelligence.
- Work with customers to understand operational challenges and develop value-driven solutions.
- Develop and communicate compelling value propositions, business cases, and win strategies.
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract award.
- Ensure quotations and proposals are technically accurate, commercially sound, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with global product groups and technical support teams to deploy new products, best practices, and sales tools.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support business growth.
- Support warranty-related activities, technical recommendations, and solution development.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, risk management requirements, and QEHS standards..
About You
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) or a technical trade qualification with substantial industry experience.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in mining, minerals processing, engineering, or a related industry.
- Proven understanding of industry markets and business development strategies.
- Demonstrated success in sales growth, solution selling, and customer engagement.
- Current driver's licence and valid passport.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to develop professional reports, proposals, and business correspondence.
