SVT/PV Engineering Software Applications - Intern

This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to verification testing and automation initiatives for networking software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.

• Investigate software defects and identify issues with potential customer impact.

• Collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues related to specifications and test plans.

• Raise and track Jira defects for product issues.

• Develop and maintain automated test cases using established automation practices.

• Create and execute browser end-to-end tests using Cypress.

• Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines and maintain TestRail and Jira integrations.

The must haves:

• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and report automation coverage metrics.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, product line managers, and product owners to translate requirements into test coverage.

• Cypress for browser end-to-end testing.

• Jasmine for Angular/legacy testing.

• Test reporting and coverage tooling.

• BDD with Cucumber using the Page Object Model design pattern.

• Familiarity with Jira for ticketing and tracking.

Nice to haves:

• Allure reporting for automation test results.

• Integration with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

• Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium.

• Debugging experience in VS Code.

• TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SVG.

• Java/J2EE and Python.

• Git, Bitbucket, AI-Agents, and GitHub Copilot.
