About the role:

The Risk & Compliance Manager helps Technology teams manage risk confidently and work in line with key policies, standards and regulatory requirements. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role supports leaders in identifying potential risks, strengthening controls, coordinating audits, and ensuring issues are resolved effectively to keep the business operating smoothly.

Working closely with Technology teams, Enterprise Risk and audit partners, the role provides clear visibility of risk and compliance performance while driving continuous improvement across processes, controls and reporting. The position also leads the ongoing enhancement and adoption of ServiceNow IRM to support a proactive and practical approach to risk management

What you’ll do

- Lead Technology risk and compliance activities, ensuring key risks, controls and obligations are effectively identified, managed and monitored across projects and operational teams.

- Provide independent second-line oversight and assurance to help leaders understand their risk landscape, strengthen controls and address emerging issues before they become significant problems.

- Partner with Technology, Enterprise Risk and Audit teams to coordinate audits, support assurance activities and drive continuous improvement across risk and compliance practices.

- Manage the end-to-end risk and control lifecycle, from risk assessment and control testing through to issue remediation, ensuring actions are tracked and delivered on time.

- Drive the adoption and maturity of ServiceNow IRM, improving reporting, data quality and risk management processes to support informed decision-making and business resilience.

What you’ll bring

- Demonstrated experience leading risk, compliance, audit ( coordinating internal and external audits) or assurance functions in large, complex organisations

- Experience with ServiceNow IRM or equivalent GRC platforms.

- Experience implementing and operating governance, risk and compliance frameworks, including strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles and practices.

- Strong knowledge of technology risk domains including operational, cyber, data, third-party and transformation risk

- Tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Law or related discipline
