Critical Attributes
- Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.
- Positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python
Key responsibilities and experience relevant for the role
- Bachelor of electrical engineering / power systems (Masters or PhD viewed favourably)
- 6+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably
- Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks
- Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients
- Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client
- Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE
- Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment
Value Add
- Experience working in a transmission system operator considered an advantage.
