Are you an experienced full-stack Senior ABAP Developer ready to take ownership of complex, mission-critical architectures - spanning from classic enterprise structures to modern SAP technologies? What are my responsibilities? • End-to-End Delivery & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions across the entire SAP landscape. • Legacy & Core Customization: Build and maintain custom developments using classic and advanced ABAP techniques, including Dynpro / Web Dynpro, ALV reporting, ABAP OO and SAPUI5. • Modern technologies like SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and CDS Views on SAP S/4HANA are considered highly desirable. • Integration & Data Exchange: Implement reliable data flows and integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services. • Modern UI/UX Integration: Collaborate closely on frontend integrations using SAP SAPUI5 and OData services. • Agile Engineering & Process Management: Work in a large-scale agile project environment with daily stand-ups, technical alignments, and structured deployments • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Share expertise within the development team, conduct rigorous code reviews, promote Clean Core principles, and ensure developments strictly adhere to Siemens development guidelines and naming conventions. What do I need to qualify for this job? • Extensive ABAP Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in advanced Object-Oriented ABAP. • Traditional & Legacy Mastery: Solid foundation in classic ABAP technologies, including Dynpro, Web Dynpro ABAP, ALV Grid, and data migration/integration tools. • UI Technologies: Good understanding of Web Dynpro and SAPUI5 development concepts. • Methodologies & Collaboration: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with a strong focus on quality, testing, and clean architecture. • Mindset: Proactive, analytical problem-solver with excellent communication skills in English and a passion for mentoring others.
Nice to have: • Modern SAP Paradigm Mastery: Practical knowledge of SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), CDS Views, Virtual Data Models (VDM), and OData services (V2/V4). • S/4HANA & Cloud Integration: Strong S/4HANA know-how, combined with sound knowledge of SAP BTP, including CAP (Node.js), workflow, automation, and integration capabilities.
