About the Opportunity

AI is changing how customers discover, evaluate and choose brands, and RACV is moving quickly to be at the forefront of that shift. As Senior Manager - AI Discovery & Performance Marketing , you'll lead the evolution of our performance marketing engine while building RACV's capability in AI search, generative discovery and emerging recommendation environments.

This is a high-impact role for a proven specialist who knows how to drive measurable growth, challenge media agencies and platform partners, and translate marketing investment into clear incrementality across RACV's products and member engagement priorities.

Key reponsibilities

Lead RACV's AI Discovery capability

- Develop and execute RACV's AI Discovery strategy across platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and emerging AI recommendation environments.

- Improve RACV's visibility, authority, citation presence and recommendation quality across AI-driven discovery journeys.

- Translate emerging AI and search trends into practical commercial opportunities and growth initiatives.

Optimise performance marketing

- Lead the transformation of RACV's performance marketing engine across paid search, SEM, paid social, digital media and emerging AI-led acquisition channels.

- Drive measurable commercial outcomes across acquisition, conversion, ROI, CPA, incrementality and member engagement metrics.

- Set a clear agenda for agency and platform optimisation, ensuring RACV's investment is challenged, tested and directed to the highest-value outcomes.

Build a culture of experimentation and insight

- Establish robust measurement frameworks across AI discovery, organic search and performance marketing, including MMM, incrementality testing and experimentation design.

- Lead disciplined test-and-learn programs across content, media, audiences, landing pages, creative, offers and digital experiences.

- Convert complex data, market signals and AI insights into clear recommendations that drive growth.

Lead capability and influence

- Lead a high-performing team across AI discovery, SEO, SEM and performance marketing.

- Influence senior stakeholders across RACV and help shape organisational understanding of AI-driven discovery.

- Manage agency, technology and platform partners to ensure RACV remains at the forefront of industry evolution.

About you

You're a proven AI discovery and performance marketing leader who has built or transformed this capability before. You combine strategic foresight with hands-on commercial discipline, and you know how to turn fast-moving changes in search, media and customer behaviour into measurable business impact.

You'll bring

- Deep expertise in AI discovery, generative search, GEO, AEO, AI Overviews and AI-powered recommendation ecosystems.

- Strong knowledge of SEO, content strategy, structured data, authority building and organic visibility.

- Extensive experience leading performance marketing programs across paid search, SEM, paid social and digital acquisition.

- A proven track record of delivering impact across growth, acquisition, incrementality, marketing effectiveness and member engagement.

- Strong experience with MMM, incrementality testing, experimentation frameworks and performance optimisation strategies.

- A natural leadership style with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders, lift team capability and constructively challenge agencies, technology partners and media platforms.

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Digital, Commerce, Communications or a related discipline (desirable).
