THE TEAM

The position is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flexible and dynamic team working in the growing markets of image sensors.

The role works within the IC Digital Design team, forming part of the wider design team in Singapore which includes all disciplines required for implementation of full custom ultra low power image sensors.

In addition to the many challenges of Digital image sensor implementation, this role shall also contribute to tool and flow enhancements, aligning to all our inter-team colleagues across STs Imaging sites (Grenoble, Edinburgh and Noida).

YOUR ROLE

- The successful candidate will play an important role in development of new and existing products.
- Key role consists of entire spectrum of the digital design flow; from architecture specification to design of IPs/SOC with the application of rigorous methodologies.
- Deep collaboration with architecture, verification, firmware, and application teams across the division on alignment with expected functionalities.
- Specific responsibilities shall also include verification at IP and SOC levels, FPGA and SoC synthesis and final evaluation of the design on silicon.
- The multi-disciplinary nature of the role provides for a broad working experience and ample opportunity for career progression or specializing in a particular technology area.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

- Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics, or higher qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Digital Design
- Proficiency in of Verilog/System Verilog HDL
- Solid understanding of digital theory, including static timing analysis (STA) and high-speed/low-power design techniques, CDC and RDC
- Practical experience in using/creating SystemVerilog test benches
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, Python…)
- Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques is a plus
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A motivated individual with strong communication and be passionate about digital design.
