We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Master Data Specialist to manage and maintain vendor master data within our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of vendor records, supporting procurement, finance, and compliance processes.
The position will play a key role in a transition phase, involving the migration and takeover of activities from an external service provider, ensuring continuity and process optimization.
Our Master Data Specialist will be in charge of:
- Create, update, and maintain vendor master records in the ERP system
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
- Perform data validation and quality checks in accordance with company policies
- Manage vendor onboarding processes, including documentation verification
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment
- Support audits by providing accurate vendor data and documentation
- Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
- Monitor and resolve data discrepancies or duplicate records
- Maintain data governance standards and ensure compliance with regulations
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in master data management, preferably vendor/customer data
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) – mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is considered a strong advantage
- Experience with data management tools or systems
- Knowledge of procurement or finance processes
- Additional languages (such as Italian and French) are a plus
