We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  SVP, Cross Border Implementation

In this role you will:

Cross-border enablement and implementation

- Lead the design and implementation of cross-border initiatives that support business growth, improve client outcomes and enhance frontline effectiveness.
- Translate strategic priorities into practical, scalable solutions across markets and customer journeys.
- Support the implementation of changes to cross-border propositions, market coverage, processes and operating models.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve cross-border activity while ensuring that appropriate controls and regulatory requirements are embedded from the outset.
- Work closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on cross-border standards, policy developments and implementation priorities.

Sales orchestration and customer journeys

- Design and enhance end-to-end customer journeys for new and existing clients, from onboarding through relationship development and wealth deepening.
- Drive consistent execution across markets and corridors, balancing client needs, commercial objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support the enhancement of advisory-led approach to client engagement.
- Develop corridor strategies that reflect market dynamics, client needs, product capabilities and regulatory considerations.
- Use customer, sales and operational insights to identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve activation and strengthen client relationships.

Governance and stakeholder management

- Lead the prioritization and approval of cross-border initiatives, coordinating input from senior stakeholders across Wealth, Distribution, Propositions, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Digital and and Technology.
- Prepare clear recommendations, decision materials and implementation plans for relevant governance forums.
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues and actions through to resolution.
- Build strong relationships across functions and markets, influencing outcomes in a complex, matrix environment.
- Ensure that implementation activity remains focused on measurable client, commercial and operational outcomes.

Risk, control and regulatory management

- Act as a senior subject-matter expert on cross-border requirements for the Offshore Distribution team.
- Ensure that frontline policies, procedures, guidance and training remain current and fit for purpose.
- Oversee the management of exceptions, approvals, escalations and risk acceptance cases in line with established governance.
- Support audits, compliance reviews and internal assessments, coordinating responses and the timely remediation of identified actions.
- Maintain effective monitoring, documentation and control arrangements to support ongoing regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Review potential breaches and control issues with relevant Risk and Compliance stakeholders, ensuring appropriate action and escalation.

Frontline capability and support

- Provide clear and practical guidance to frontline teams on cross-border policies, processes and regulatory changes.
- Oversee training and communications for new joiners and existing colleagues, including refresher and regulatory training.
- Identify recurring frontline questions or process issues and use these insights to improve guidance, training and customer journeys.
- Facilitate effective communication between frontline teams, implementation owners, Risk, Compliance and other key stakeholders.

Strategic projects and business initiatives

- Provide cross-border expertise to strategic initiatives spanning wealth, propositions, digital, products, insurance and distribution.
- Ensure cross-border considerations are incorporated into initiative design, customer journeys, operating models, controls and implementation plans.
- Support the delivery of both new-to-bank and existing-client initiatives that improve engagement, activation and wealth penetration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and the adoption of more efficient and effective ways of working.

Experience and capabilities

- Significant experience in cross-border banking, wealth management, financial services implementation, distribution or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of cross-border regulatory, policy, risk and control requirements.
- Proven experience leading complex initiatives across multiple markets, functions and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to design and implement customer journeys, sales processes and operating models.
- Strong governance, programme management and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing audits, compliance reviews, remediation actions and risk issues.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect strategic priorities to measurable business and client outcomes.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous and highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across boundaries and deliver through others.
