We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Asst. Mgr – Processing – EQ – TPM – MNL.

Responsible for reconciling post trade CSA (Commission Sharing Agreement) entries between HSBC and the client. The employee will also manage receivables for HSBC and process third party payment requests from clients after having reconciled their monthly CSA files.

Principal responsibilities

- Provide post trade support to four entities in relation to their CSA (Commission Sharing Agreement) accounts: HBEU, HBCE, HBAP and HSI. Responsibilities include but not limited to post trade reconciliation of HSBC vs client files, management and tracking of HSBC receivables, processing of third-party payment requests from clients.

- Interact with Front Office Trading and Sales, Operation teams, Product Control and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and escalation issues.

- Assist with CSA account set up and respond to inquiries from desk, finance, compliance and other departments on an adhoc basis.

- Ability to apply judgment to operational situations in a fast-paced environment to drive progress

- Identify potential financial risk to the bank and ensure proper resolution is achieved within the bank’s guidelines

- Timely escalation when necessary for issues that may cause financial loss to the bank or that could affect client relationships Ensure adequate support for effective management of KRIs, to minimise risk e.g. Nostro/Stock/inter-system breaks

- Ensure all daily checklist tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner

- Demonstrate a high standard of client service from the team to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

- Accomplished understanding of Equities franchise and the associated risks

- Highly numerate

- Ability to problem solve, articulate requirements and implement change

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work accurately in a pressurised environment

- Quick learner, analytical and has keen attention to detail
