The Accounting Technology Analyst role is for a technically minded professional who will apply computer science, data, automation, and artificial intelligence skills to help drive efficiency and transformation in Accounting. Working alongside Accounting, Finance, and technology partners, the analyst will identify repetitive or manual activities, develop practical solutions, and help scale capabilities that improve efficiency, quality, and control.
The role will support the broader Accounting transformation by automating processes that will facilitate accelerating the financial close, improving access to reliable data, simplifying reporting, and enabling accountants to focus on technical accounting analysis and reporting. Prior accounting experience is not required; curiosity, strong technical fundamentals, and an interest in learning accounting processes are essential
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational programming ability in one or more languages, such as Python, SQL, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including requirements, source control, testing, debugging, documentation, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Experience with structured data, databases, APIs, data transformation, or analytical tools through coursework, projects, internships, research, or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

- Internship, co-op, research, academic project, or other practical experience related to software, data, automation, or AI. Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools, including generative AI, prompt design, model limitations, data privacy, validation, and responsible use.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn Accounting processes, controls, and related business practices.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
