Location: Calgary, AB - Remote Position
Job Type—4-month contract
Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Collection: Assist with the systematic input and aggregation of data from specified sources into our internal tools and templates.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of data sources and collection activities.
- Collaboration: Work with the team to understand business requirements and ensure that data collection meets the needs of current projects.
- Process Assistance: Help troubleshoot basic data pipeline issues and suggest improvements for more efficient data handling.
Top Skills: Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree or currently pursuing a relevant qualification.
- Technical Skills:Basic proficiency in data tools such as Excel/Google Sheets. Familiarity with the Banking industry is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, a proactive learning mindset, and the ability to follow structured processes accurately.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable asking questions and flagging issues early.
Project Description:
The Dual Risk Rating (DRR) Program seeks to establish foundational risk assessment tools, processes and applications that align to expectations of regulatory bodies, meet expected practices for peer Financial Institutions and support the redevelopment of non-consumer credit portfolio models that will truly rank-order, loss given default (LGD) via facility risk ratings (FRR), and probability of default (PD) via borrower risk ratings (BRR).
