Position Summary

This position will lead and drive product and growth strategies, initiatives, and programs that advance the most critical Individual & Family Plans (IFP) Dental priorities. This role will serve as a key connector across business units, aligning stakeholders around shared goals and delivering high-impact outcomes that shape the future of our IFP portfolio through strategic, collaborative, and visionary approaches delivering key business needs.  This role develops and directs the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company’s product portfolio. It evaluates business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio and solution alternatives through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues, and the competitive environment. The Principal develops new product value propositions and targeted feature sets, anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues, and recommends new products, improvements. This role solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Strategic & Planning Initiatives: Drive the development and execution of strategies that support IFP growth and innovation. Engage in planning activities to support Monthly Business Review and annual Strategy meetings for IFP Dental business.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with leaders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Technology, and Clinical teams to align on priorities, identify synergies, and ensure cohesive execution.
- Program Leadership: Design and manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs that deliver on strategic objectives, ensuring measurable impact and timely delivery.
- Market & Competitive Insights: Contribute to market research efforts to leverage market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic direction and identify new opportunities.
- Strategy Communication: Develop and deliver compelling presentations, strategic updates, and recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Change Leadership: Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Portfolio Optimization: Support the development of product definitions and solution plans to enhance the company’s product and service offerings and contribute to dental product deliverables and lead assigned projects.
- Business Opportunity Evaluation: Analyze market trends, technology, and customer needs to define and optimize product portfolio and solution alternatives.
- Product Management: Dental team player role that leads/contributes on behalf of product related initiatives, developing project proposals, business cases, and support implementations activities.

Qualificatio ns

- 8+ years of experience in product strategy, business strategy, or program leadership, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in matrixed environments and influencing without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Deep understanding of the Individual & Family Plans (IFP) market and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in enterprise or large-scale program management.
- Passion for improving healthcare access, affordability, and outcomes.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 141,700 - 236,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
