Responsibilities

In this role you will be part of strategic development, planning and documenting the business demands on our future IT landscape, and developing our digital capabilities together with the business and internal IT department. A core part of the role is to lead and structure the end-to-end business demand process (intake, analysis, prioritisation and follow-up) and to converge business demands into clear IT demands, value cases and measurable outcomes.

As this role is a Demand Architect role with focus on Information Architecture, you will contribute to the implementation of our newly established Data Governance Office (part of BIO), with a purpose to ensure that Customers Nordic business data is accurate, trusted, usable, and aligned with operational and analytical needs.

In this work you will be part of the team focusing on Data Governance Model implementation across BU Customers Nordic. The model is based on DAMA and Data Mesh frameworks, where you will be responsible to structure data domains and organize shared vs. local data, ownership and standards. You will work in tight collaboration with Data Governance Lead, System Owner, Demand Architects, BUSO and other business stakeholders. The role implies developing Customers Nordic digital capabilities in close collaboration with the internal IT department.

You will also contribute into transformation projects and programs (business, process, data and IT) where information/data focus is required and help drive the change from current state to target state. For this we are looking for the right candidate with proven leadership skills and experience in change management. You will contribute in projects and assignments for our operations where you represent good practice from IT perspective, standards and supporting in evaluating development alternatives.

Your key activities

Participate in the business demand process and governance, ensuring transparent intake, analysis, prioritisation and decision documentation across stakeholders.
Capture, analyse and structure business needs and convert them into clear IT demand with defined scope, acceptance criteria, KPIs and expected business value.
Secure a holistic view of the IT landscape and demand portfolio and ensure it is future-proof and meets short- and long-term business needs in an effective way (functional, cost-effective and value-driven).
Development and communication of shared business information glossary across Customers Nordic
Setting up a shared data model across Customers Nordic
Support projects and business demands in terms of data/information analysis
Leading role in defining shared vs local data/information needs across BU Customers Nordic
Use data and insights to identify business pain points and opportunities (e.g., customer behaviour, sales performance, process efficiency) and translate them into prioritised demands and improvement initiatives.
Together with CDN System Owner and Data Governance Lead define a shared standards for data quality across Customers Nordic

Skills: Our ideal candidate

We are looking for a Senior Business Demand and Information Architect who has 10+ years of relevant work experience. We believe you have good understanding of utility business processes and their IT capability needs. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and can communicate with different levels in the organisation. You know how to combine and balance stakeholders' interests and are not afraid to take decisions to ensure output is being realised. We believe that you are passionate about your work and enjoy being in an ever-changing environment.

Good understanding of the utility- and electricity business.
Experience from working in a large international company
Long experience of working with information architecture in a business context (intake, analysis, prioritisation, value cases and follow-up)
Strong analytical skills: experience defining KPIs/OKRs, building decision material based on data, and collaborating with BI/analytics teams (e.g., dashboards, reporting, data quality and insights).
Deep experience in business and IT architecture, covering both process, information and system view.
Understanding and experience of agile methods and way of working.
• Fluent in Swedish and English in written and spoken.
• Strong skills in Enterprise Architecture, experience in Solution/application architecture is not mandatory but a welcome “plus”.

Understanding of security regulations to ensure critical data is adequately protected, but at least confident in addressing security aspects into architecture work
