MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD . This position is Hybrid , three days onsite and 2 days remote with travel approximately two weeks per quarter.

You will support the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Program Office (PMA-234) at NAS Patuxent River. PMA-234 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining Airborne Electronic Attack systems and providing combatant commanders with Electronic Warfare capabilities that critically enable operational mission success. You will serve as the Deputy to the Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineering - Low Band team. This is a local hybrid position requiring two days per week on-site at NAS Patuxent River combined with local telework.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Serving as the Deputy to the Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineering - Low Band, acting as the primary representative to gather, analyze, document, and manage technical and performance requirements from all stakeholders.
- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, program offices, contractors, and external agencies to ensure Systems Engineering practices are followed.
- Facilitating Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events and identifying, assessing, and documenting technical, programmatic, readiness, and sustainment risks.
- Preparing clear, concise technical reports, gap analyses, and business case analyses while contributing to integrated master plans and tracking milestones.
- Reviewing life cycle management documentation to ensure supportability from design through disposal and analyzing readiness, sustainment, and cost data to inform decision-making.
- Operating effectively across multi-level security environments and identifying opportunities for process improvements and best practices implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

- MS or MA degree in a Technical or Scientific field from an accredited college or university, or a BS or BA degree in a Technical or Scientific field with an additional 4 years of recent and relevant experience, in lieu of graduate degree

- 10+ years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, with a minimum of 3 years directly related to DoD systems.

- 10+ years of applied engineering experience developing complex systems.

- Demonstrated experience in delivering results in support of multi-level security projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Direct experience working in defense, aerospace, or government programmatic and technical settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills for collaborating effectively with engineers, logisticians, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within a complex engineering environment.

Clearance Requirements:

- U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret Clearance or higher.

Physical Requirements:

- You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- You will occasionally need to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other equipment.
- You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and you must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,900.00-$268,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
