As part of international offshore pipeline installation projects, MOBEN&ROOSTER is looking for a Senior Project Engineer – Installation Methods to support projects and tenders, from the early engineering stages through to offshore execution.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead engineering activities related to pipeline installation methods on international projects;
- Support project scopes from early engagement with internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board installation vessels;
- Define appropriate installation methods for Reel-Lay, S-Lay and J-Lay operations;
- Prepare installation method statements, procedures and technical documentation required for offshore operations;
- Perform installation rigging calculations and contribute to rigging design;
- Provide technical expertise on pipeline installation matters;
- Contribute to subcontractor selection and technical follow-up;
- Support procurement activities and follow up the fabrication and testing of installation aids;
- Coordinate technical interfaces with the various disciplines involved in the projects;
- Support HSEQ activities and ensure safety requirements are incorporated into installation methods;
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to relevant stakeholders;
- Contribute to feasibility studies, installation methodologies, man-hour estimates, schedule inputs and costing support during tender phases;
- Follow up your technical scope during offshore operations on board installation vessels.

Candidate Profile

You hold a degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Technology, Marine Engineering, Naval Engineering , or an equivalent discipline.

You have 5 to 12 years of relevant industry experience in project engineering, with relevant exposure to the offshore energy industry and subsea pipeline installation.

You are also capable of acting as a technical reference, coordinating complex engineering activities and supporting other engineers in delivering project scopes.

Technical Skills

- Offshore and subsea pipeline installation;
- Reel-Lay, S-Lay and J-Lay installation methods;
- Installation engineering and preparation of installation procedures;
- Feasibility studies and offshore operations preparation;
- Rigging calculations and rigging design;
- Procurement, fabrication and testing follow-up;
- Technical interface and subcontractor management;
- Tender support and engineering man-hour estimation;
- Integration of HSEQ requirements into installation methods;
- Technical support during offshore operations on board installation vessels.
