Process Engineer

Process Engineer Multipurpose Unit

Serves as the process support for and plant representative for the design, construction and implementation of capital projects, interfacing technical professionals from other disciplines, sites and technical experts in departments, including Facilities, PCS and Project Engineering, Environmental Operations and Process Development.

Provides day-to-day process support for troubleshooting and process optimization.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide support to plan, coordinate, and execute technical activities needed to support manufacturing operations while ensuring safe, efficient, productive, and environmentally sound manufacture of active ingredients or intermediates.
- Assist area management and operations personnel in evaluating and achieving area performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and operability, subject to supervisory review.
- Coordinate with corporate and site production planners on production timing and raw material availability; develop and track key performance indicators.
- Participate in investigations of area performance issues and support implementation of technical solutions related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability, and operability.
- Support investment projects, maintain and develop area operating documentation, collaborate on plant trials, compile environmental data, coach peers and area personnel, and support Site and Area Production System improvements including OnePSS.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, another engineering discipline OR knowledge BS/BA completed by August 2027.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or MS and 0+ years of experience.
- Experience in process measurement and applications in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment.

This posting will expire on October 30, 2026.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $63,040.00 - $94,560.00per year. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
