## Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Robotic Specialist is responsible to design, develop, program, test, and integrate robotic systems to perform tasks efficiently and safely across our production facilities. This position will be required to travel to plants working with plant process engineer, welding specialist, and quality engineers to re-qualify equipment set-up and functionality.

Main responsabilities:

- Assembly and setup of equipment and tooling.
- Robotic Safety setup using Fanuc DCS or Yaskawa FSU.
- Setting up Communication with PLC and peripheral equipment.
- Create new robotic jobs for welding and Material handling.
- Setup of basic robotic parameters (Mastering, Payload, TCP, cubes and ether-net I/O).
- Setup new tooling configurations in equipment HMI and insure proper function.
- Test Robotic communications and Debug with PLC.
- Install welding package using SKS, Miller, Lincoln and Fronius Welding equipment.
- Adjust Welding path or Tooling as needed based on dimensional requirements and Cut/Etch results.
- Function test Equipment and safety devices for machine runoff and final acceptance.
- Identify technical risks and propose innovative solutions

## Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:

- 2 year technical degree in Welding or 5 years of on the job robot programming and welding experience
- Manual GMAW and GTAW skills are necessary
- Fanuc and Yaskawa robot programming experience
- Welding experience of exhaust components a plus
