Our Financial Risk Management team is a key department within SRTA with an ambitious plan in terms of growth, innovation, talent management and market recognition. Financial Risk Management professionals help banks and other financial institutions manage risk arising from market risk factors, such as interest rates and customer behaviour. Deloitte Financial Risk Management consultants impact the global financial services industry by serving influential clients and working on projects that positively reshape financial services. You will share your expertise with around 100 colleagues in the Financial Risk Management team in Deloitte Netherlands.

As an Analyst/Consultant in Asset & Liability Management , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in identifying, assessing, and managing balance sheet and financial risks that may impact their business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your analytical expertise to deliver value-added insights and support effective Asset & Liability Management (ALM) practices.

What you’ll do:

- Support clients in the assessment and management of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) and balance sheet risks
- Apply your skills in quantitative modelling and data analysis
- Translate technical results into valuable stakeholder impact
- Support the development and validation of ALM frameworks, policies, methodologies, and processes
- Support regulatory and risk management initiatives related to ALM, including relevant banking and prudential requirements
- Assist in the preparation of management and regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Improve process efficiency in the financial services industry through AI, for example via automation, acceleration and streamlining

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Asset & Liability Management Consultant.

- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative field
- You are curious, independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- You have a strong interest in financial markets, banking, risk management, and Asset & Liability Management (ALM)
- You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and draw well-reasoned conclusions
- You have experience with data analysis and quantitative modelling, using tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, or R
- You have the ability to communicate analytical findings and complex financial concepts clearly and effectively, both in writing and live discussion
- You have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients across different functions and levels
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
