The Enterprise Platform Engineering & Operations (EPEO) organization is transforming how it plans, prioritizes, funds, and delivers value. As part of this journey, EPEO is evolving from a platform-centric operating model toward a more product-centric approach focused on outcomes, customer value, strategic alignment, and organizational effectiveness.
The team is seeking a Product Transformation Lead to help drive this transformation. This role will support EPEO strategic planning, organizational OKRs, portfolio planning, product transformation, and Center of Excellence initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with leaders and teams across EPEO to improve how work is planned, aligned, governed, measured, and delivered.
This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys connecting strategy to execution, improving operating models and ways of working, facilitating organizational change, and helping leaders make informed investment and prioritization decisions.
What you'll do...
Portfolio Planning & Strategy
- Lead and facilitate portfolio planning cycles, quarterly planning activities, roadmap development, and organizational rhythms that improve planning predictability, reduce reactive work, and support strategic decision-making, investment alignment, and transformation objectives.
- Develop portfolio reporting, planning artifacts, executive presentations, dashboards, and decision-support materials that provide visibility into portfolio health, capacity, investment allocation, product ownership, and organizational performance.
- Analyze portfolio health, capacity, dependencies, risks, value delivery, workforce allocation, product and platform ownership, and investment trends to identify insights, opportunities, and recommendations for leadership.
- Facilitate portfolio investment analysis, prioritization discussions, scenario planning, and tradeoff evaluations to help leaders align resources, funding, and capacity to strategic outcomes.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve portfolio planning, roadmap, governance, and operating model artifacts to support organizational alignment, transparency, and decision-making.
- Support the development of organizational visibility and planning capabilities, including team-to-product alignment, workforce capacity, cost transparency, and investment management.
OKR Planning & Alignment
- Facilitate organization-wide OKR planning, alignment, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen the connection between strategy, portfolio investments, and measurable business outcomes.
- Facilitate planning workshops, portfolio reviews, leadership alignment sessions, and transformation discussions to build consensus, identify opportunities, and drive organizational alignment.
- Partner with leaders to define measurable objectives and key results that align strategic priorities, portfolio investments, and expected business outcomes.
- Develop outcome-based reporting, analytics, and insights that help leaders measure progress, evaluate value delivery, identify risks, and make informed strategic adjustments.
- Champion outcome-based planning practices across EPEO by coaching teams, sharing best practices, developing guidance, and helping leaders connect investments, execution, and measurable outcomes.
Product Transformation & Operating Model
- Help define, plan, and execute EPEO's platform-to-product transformation by assessing current-state capabilities, identifying future-state operating model needs, and developing recommendations, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Help define, design, and implement future-state operating model capabilities and ways of working, including portfolio planning, product ownership, team structures, capacity visibility, governance, collaboration models, and outcome-based delivery practices.
- Develop and evolve product management, product operations, portfolio planning, and transformation playbooks, frameworks, standards, and best practices that support EPEO's long-term operating model evolution.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend industry-leading practices, frameworks, technologies, and operating model approaches that improve portfolio management, product delivery, organizational effectiveness, and business outcomes.
- Develop and support transformation communications, training, coaching, and adoption strategies that help leaders and teams successfully implement new planning practices, operating model capabilities, and ways of working.
- Assess organizational capabilities and recommend training, coaching, consulting, tools, and capability-building investments that support EPEO's transformation, operating model evolution, and long-term organizational effectiveness.
Center of Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Help establish and evolve portfolio management, planning, product management, Agile, and tooling standards that improve organizational alignment, planning effectiveness, delivery visibility, and business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, guidance, frameworks, and best practices that improve planning quality, execution consistency, organizational transparency, and adoption of portfolio and product management practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, organizational visibility, governance, operating model maturity, workforce transparency, and execution consistency through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Decision Support
- Build trusted partnerships with leaders, teams, and stakeholders across EPEO to improve alignment, influence decision-making, and accelerate organizational planning, transformation, and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate communication, alignment, and shared understanding between leadership, product teams, platform teams, and stakeholders to improve planning, prioritization, transparency, and execution outcomes.
- Partner in executive planning sessions, strategy discussions, portfolio reviews, governance forums, and transformation workshops by providing facilitation, analysis, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
- Provide data-driven insights, recommendations, and strategic options that help leaders make informed decisions regarding investments, priorities, organizational design, operating model evolution, and value delivery.
