CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver | DOLLAR TREE - Phoenix, AZ

Earn approximately $1,600–$1,700 per week hauling dedicated retail freight from Phoenix across Arizona, Southern California, Nevada, and Utah. This regional position offers weekly home time, mileage pay, and additional compensation for unloading and stops. Drivers must be comfortable with hands-on freight handling.

Main Yard / Starting Location

Phoenix, AZ — regional routes originate from the Phoenix area. Drivers deliver to stores throughout Arizona and Utah, Southern California around San Diego (not Los Angeles), and portions of Nevada around Las Vegas.

Pay Details

- Advertised Weekly Pay Range: $1,600–$1,700
- Mileage Pay: $0.60–$0.62 per mile, based on experience
- Unload Pay: $100 per load
- Stop Pay: $25 per stop
- Short-Load Pay: $80 for loads under 100 miles
- Paid for all loaded miles

Job Details

- Dedicated retail account
- Regional dry van freight
- Deliver throughout Arizona, Southern California, Nevada, and Utah
- Approximately 80% of trailers are loaded with roto-carts ; the remaining 20% contain loose boxes that must be stacked into roto-carts
- Unload using a liftgate and roll carts
- Unloading may take 1–2 hours per stop
- Physical work is required, including down-stacking boxes and unloading freight

Shift Details

- Home weekly
- Day and night shifts available
- Early-morning store deliveries
- Occasional weekend deliveries based on customer demand
- Some Arizona local deliveries may allow an additional day at home during the week
- Utah deliveries on Fridays may extend the return home until Saturday night, with time off continuing into Monday

Job Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Experienced drivers and trainees considered; confirm the specific experience requirement with recruiting
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be able to perform physical unloading using roto-carts and a liftgate
- Must be comfortable handling loose boxes and down-stacking pallets
