Pay Details

- Average Annual Pay: $80,000–$110,000
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,550–$2,100
- Mileage Pay: $0.60 per mile
- Average Miles: 1,700 per week
- Daily Pay: $60 when all 5 scheduled days are worked
- Sixth-Day Pay: Additional $75
- Stop Pay: $20.50–$22.50 per stop, based on years on the account
- Safety Training: $20 per hour
- Annual pay raises

Job Details

- Dedicated local grocery account
- Operate within a 250-mile radius of Bethlehem, PA
- Deliver groceries using 48- or 53-foot dry van trailers
- Usually 2 loads per day, with 2–3 stops per load
- Pick up salvage, returned products, or backhauls at designated stops
- Some routes include Long Island and New York City boroughs, except Manhattan
- Expect New York City deliveries approximately 3–4 times per week
- Additional loads may be assigned when hours of service permit
- Drivers must communicate delivery completion or any issues to dispatch
- Slip-seat operation, with efforts made to keep drivers in the same truck

Shift Details

- Home Daily
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Start time: approximately 10:00 AM
- Shifts typically last 12–14 hours
- Sixth-day work may be available for additional income
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
- Drivers may work other holidays when scheduled and the account is operating

Job Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to complete deliveries in New York City and surrounding areas
