Pay Range: $60,000.00- $95,000.00 per year, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications

Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and organized Major Mechanical Service Advisor to join our service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring a positive service experience while maximizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and professionally.

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.

- Prepare repair orders and communicate service recommendations, estimates, and timelines.

- Coordinate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repair progress, and completion schedules.

- Explain maintenance and repair recommendations in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

- Monitor repair status and keep customers informed throughout the service process.

- Review completed repairs with customers and ensure all questions are answered.

- Assist in achieving service department sales, customer satisfaction, and retention goals.

- Handle warranty claims, service contracts, and repair documentation as required.

- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with dealership policies.

Qualifications

- Previous automotive service advisor, service writer, or customer service experience preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance requirements.

- Computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems preferred.

- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
