About The Job Opportunity
As an Inside Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing talent, driving accountability, improving sales processes, and delivering revenue growth across multiple healthcare-focused verticals.
Success in this role requires strong coaching skills, sales leadership experience, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence results through others. You'll help your team improve prospecting effectiveness, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, consultative selling skills, and customer engagement.

The Ideal Candidate
You are a sales leader who excels at coaching, influencing, and improving performance across teams, even when you do not have direct reporting authority. You are passionate about helping sales professionals increase productivity, strengthen consultative selling skills, improve pipeline management, and achieve revenue goals.
You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and have a proven ability to partner with sales leaders, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive adoption of best practices. You leverage data, coaching, and process optimization to improve sales effectiveness and business outcomes.
You are equally comfortable analyzing performance metrics, leading training initiatives, facilitating sales discussions, and collaborating with stakeholders across sales, operations, marketing, and revenue leadership.
What You'll Do
Sales Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent while creating a strong succession pipeline for future growth.
- Manage performance, create development plans, and address performance gaps when necessary.
- Conduct daily standups, one-on-ones, call reviews, and performance reviews to ensure alignment on targets, track progress, and identify development opportunities.
- Coach inside sales professionals on consultative selling techniques, Salesforce and opportunity management rigor, healthcare market dynamics, effective discovery, and solution positioning.
- Foster accountability and ownership within the team while maintaining a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
Revenue Growth & Strategic Execution
- Own forecast accuracy, pipeline health, conversion metrics, and attainment reporting for the inside sales organization.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive inside sales strategy aligned with organizational goals for the assigned end markets (ambulatory, acute, life science, government).
- Drive new bookings growth and renewal performance through proactive pipeline management, opportunity prioritization, and strategic account planning across all end markets.
- Partner with the sales leadership team to implement revenue optimization initiatives (RevIO rollout, process improvements) and track adoption and impact.
- Collaborate with End Market VPs and Directors to develop and execute strategies that drive sales performance and business growth.
Operational Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support pricing, escalation, and customer solution discussions; partner with product, delivery, and pricing teams to address customer needs effectively.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless customer experience and timely resolution of sales and operational issues.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement to develop and deploy training, collateral, and resources that equip the team with market knowledge and competitive positioning.
- Maintain robust forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting mechanisms; provide regular insights and updates to leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Market Intelligence & Customer Relationships
- Stay abreast of ambulatory, acute, life science, and government sectors. industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within assigned end markets.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in ambulatory, acute, life science, and government sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, ethical standards, and data security requirements in all sales activities.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience & Background
- 3+ years of direct people leadership experience managing quota-carrying inside sales professionals.
- 5+ years of sales experience, including experience coaching and developing sales talent in a healthcare, technology, services, or B2B environment.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing sales teams to achieve new bookings, renewal, and growth objectives while driving consistent performance.
- Experience selling into healthcare, life sciences, government, or other complex B2B environments preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences and build consensus.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment and influence across functions without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, sales, or related field.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in equipment maintenance, biomedical, or mission-critical equipment sales or support.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT platforms, SaaS models, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Advanced Salesforce CRM experience including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and coaching through data is strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience supporting multiple end markets or geographies simultaneously.
- Background working with government or federal healthcare agencies.
