About this Role:

The Healthcare End Market Leader (EML) serves as the primary rainmaker, sector strategist, and growth executive responsible for national expansion across health systems, academic medical centers (AMCs), specialized surgical/cancer centers, and ambulatory networks.

The Healthcare EML owns vertical market strategy, executive client relationships, competitive positioning, upstream capture planning, and go-to-market proposal delivery, while project execution is delivered in collaboration with regional Business Unit Managing Directors. This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer and partners in a matrix capacity with 14 Regional Business Unit Managing Directors across the organization. The position carries a national remit with flexible location based out of a major U.S. metro hub, with 40%–50% client travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute Consertus’s multi-year Healthcare strategic growth plan as National Sector Leader
- Cultivate and convert enterprise relationships with healthcare C-suites (CEOs, COOs, CFOs, Chief Strategy Officers, VPs of Facilities/Capital Programs), positioning Consertus 12–18 months ahead of major capital bond issuances, campus expansions, and master facility plans
- Partner seamlessly across all 14 Consertus Business Units, quarterbacking pursuits and client capture while regional BUs staff and execute the work
- Champion client adoption of Consertus’s proprietary digital delivery and AI applications (Iridel)
- Lead major RFP/SOQ responses in tandem with the pursuits team and corporate marketing resources

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 15–20+ years of progressive leadership in Architecture, Engineering, Program Management/Construction Management (PM/CM), or capital advisory consulting, with at least 8–10 years dedicated to the Healthcare sector
- Demonstrated originator track record with a verifiable history of originating and closing $15M–$25M+ annually in net professional service fees (not general contracting hard costs) across complex healthcare capital programs
- Deep understanding of healthcare facility complexities, including OSHPD/HCAI (California) and state DOH regulations, clinical operational commissioning, phased hospital renovations in active clinical environments, and ambulatory network rollouts
- Active healthcare rolodex with immediate credibility and active C-suite/VP-level access to major national and regional health systems and private healthcare REITs
- Proven ability to influence and partner with regional operations, technical practice leaders, and commercial BD teams without direct line-management authority
- Expertise across target service areas including Owner’s Representation & Program Management (PM/CM), Capital Program & Project Controls (scheduling, cost management, risk modeling), Healthcare Facility Master Planning & Operational Readiness (ORAT), Transition Planning & Clinical Activation, and Digital Program Controls/AI-assisted delivery solutions
