Sales Engineer

Drive Growth Through Technical Expertise and Customer Relationships

At Lincoln Electric , a global leader in welding and cutting solutions, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to support business growth across Peru by developing distributors, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

This role combines technical knowledge and commercial acumen, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy working directly with customers, providing technical solutions, and driving sales results in industrial environments.

What You'll Do

- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve territory growth and revenue objectives.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end users.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.

- Promote Lincoln Electric products and solutions to distributors and industrial customers.

- Provide technical and commercial support to customers and channel partners.

- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.

- Deliver product training and educational programs for distributors and end users.

- Support welding trials and product performance evaluations according to established standards.

- Manage customer activities, sales visits, and opportunities through Salesforce CRM.

- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.

- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.

- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales.

- Experience managing distributor networks and industrial customers.

- Proven success in business development and account growth.

- Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.

- Intermediate English proficiency (B1 or above).

- Willingness to travel within Peru as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in welding, cutting, fabrication, or metalworking industries.

- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and production processes.

- Experience supporting technical product demonstrations and applications.

- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

- Experience serving industries such as mining, manufacturing, construction, energy, or heavy industry.
