At ExamWorks, we're dedicated to connecting people with the care and resources they need, and we're looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in a unique provider recruitment role.
This is a 100% remote position working Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm CT, offering the opportunity to make an impact from wherever you work best.
In this role, you'll help expand our nationwide network of physicians by identifying and recruiting qualified providers to perform Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs). You'll spend your day building relationships with physician offices and introducing providers to opportunities within our network.
This is a fast-paced position that combines outreach, relationship building, research, and problem-solving. You'll work closely with internal teams to identify coverage gaps, recruit providers in targeted geographic areas, and support the growth of our physician network across the country.
What You'll Do
- Reach out to physician offices nationwide to identify and recruit providers interested in performing Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs)
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, office managers, and medical staff
- Research and target markets where additional provider coverage is needed
- Verify physician credentials, including board certification and state licensure
- Negotiate provider rates and participation terms
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provider information
- Partner with internal teams to address coverage needs and support client requirements
- Guide providers through the recruitment and onboarding process, serving as a knowledgeable point of contact

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year customer-service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
- Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
- Must have ability to be trained on and adhere to HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements directions accurately.
- Must demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and responsibility for quality of work, and ability to take initiative to identify improvements. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.

- Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
