Job Highlights
- Lead the strategic development, management, and expansion of customer accounts, driving sales of rubber additives within the technical rubber goods and tire industries. Champion the identification and cultivation of additional market opportunities where the company’s products deliver differentiated value and address evolving customer needs.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to Junior Sales associates within the RCH NORAM organization, fostering professional growth and cross-functional expertise. Design and implement development programs that accelerate learning and prepare associates for key roles across the business.
- Direct and lead the creation and management of the annual RFQ & Sales budget, setting clear short- and long-term strategic objectives to drive growth. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and actionable insights, while ensuring rigorous performance tracking and timely reporting to executive and financial leadership for informed decision-making.
- Cultivate and sustain strategic customer partnerships by engaging regularly with key decision-makers, anticipating operational priorities, and proactively addressing challenges. Deliver actionable recommendations and innovative technical solutions that drive growth, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term value creation.
- Leverage deep industry and business insight to proactively identify and anticipate client needs, shaping strategic recommendations and implementing tailored solutions, products, and services. Champion cross-functional collaboration by orchestrating technical, product, and service expertise—both internally and through trusted third-party partners—to deliver exceptional value for current and prospective clients.
- Foster and maintain high-level engagement with all client groups by building strategic networks, trust, and mutually beneficial business relationships that drive growth. Provide executive-level visibility through comprehensive account activity reports to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance to internal teams in managing client-related processes—such as invoicing, distribution, and accounting—ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and timely execution of deliverables.
- Create and maintain annual sales budget, establishing short and long-term strategic goals and plans, providing accurate sales forecasts, tracking and producing reports regularly to executive and financial management
- Provide strategic intelligence by collecting, analyzing, and reporting critical competitor and market insights, including product innovations, organizational changes, partnerships, financial structures, and evolving market dynamics. Drive global alignment by collaborating with U.S. and international affiliates on industry initiatives, while maintaining thought leadership through continuous research and monitoring of trends, data, and emerging developments.
Experience / Skills
- Bachelors required. MBA Preferred
- > 10 years relevant experience in technical or sales role
- Advanced Sales and Customer Relationship Management experience
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels and explain complex issues
- Strategic-analytical thinking skills
- Communication skills and ability to work with people of varying levels and demographics.
- Advance negotiating (contract & RFQ) and conflict resolution skills
- Prior experience with management and development of sales associates & FTA Sales Manager
- Excellent business and industry acumen
