Pay Range: $40 - $44Hr based on skills, experience, and certifications.
Job Summary:
The Travel Technician is the senior technical expert responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance operations, diagnosing and repairing the most complex vehicle issues, coordinating workflow, and providing leadership and mentoring shop personnel. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the fleet.

Job Duties:
Perform advanced diagnostics and repair of diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized systems.
Perform major repair projects involving engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and fleet equipment.
Review completed repairs for quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Train, mentor, and develop Technicians at all levels.
Manage parts inventory, vendor relationships, and procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, manufacturer, and company maintenance standards.
Analyse maintenance trends and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and repair costs.
Support emergency response repairs and operational service recovery efforts.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work orders are completed properly.
Perform all other duties related supporting maintenance and operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Expert-level technical and diagnostic skills.
Ability to diagnose and repair the most complex fleet and bus maintenance issues independently.
Demonstrated Leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance programs, DOT regulations, and shop operations.
Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple maintenance activities.
Valid Driver's License.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
Six or more years of progressively responsible fleet, bus, or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
ASE Master Technician Certification preferred.
CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
Refrigeration/HVAC certification.
Fleet maintenance supervisory or Travel experience.
Extensive experience with computerized diagnostics and fleet maintenance systems.
