THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
Ivalua is looking for a Sr HR Business Partner to consult and provide a broad range of strategic HR services. The HRBP will partner closely with the managers and leaders to provide proactive Human Resources support to their organizations.
ROLE:
The Sr HR Business Partner consults with leaders to provide customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including talent management (workforce planning, development, retention, career architecture and succession), organization design and effectiveness, engagement, culture, diversity and compensation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Global GTM Strategic Partnering: Partners with leaders across Go-To-Market organizations worldwide (Sales, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Alliances, Biddesk, etc.) on leadership capability, performance management, team efficiency, talent management, L&D initiatives, organizational alignment, compensation insights and analysis.
- Regional Support (North America): Serves as the Sr HR Business Partner for the North America Region (Canada & USA), supporting other HRBP colleagues when resolving employee relations issues, providing compensation insights, managing regional mobility, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
- Change & Culture Leadership: Leads change management initiatives and supports culture transformation efforts across supported business units.
- Performance & Talent Guidance: Provides expert guidance on performance concerns, merit increases, compensation programs, promotions, career paths, and workforce retention.
- Analytics & Insights: Analyzes key HR metrics to deliver actionable insights to leadership for informed strategic decision-making.
- Global Project Ownership: Drives continuous improvement for assigned global HR processes and leads the deployment of key initiatives (e.g., HRIS implementation, compensation structures, talent management frameworks).
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience), including progressive experience in HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, L&D) and proven success as an HRBP. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Domain & Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of GTM functions and roles within the High Tech/SaaS industry, along with strong knowledge of North American labor laws (US, Canada/Quebec) and HR best practices.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven tenure in fast-growing global software environments, partnering with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to build relationships and tailor communication across all organizational levels. Actively partners with Talent Acquisition and HR Ops teams to enhance overall HR support and support the development of a best-in-class HR organization.
- Strategic Acumen & Project Management: Demonstrated ability to link HR strategy to business performance, drive organizational development, lead change initiatives, and direct specific HR process implementations (HRIS, Talent Management, Compensation).

The salary range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, salary may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Title: Sr HR Business Partner
Base range minimum: $127,500
Base range maximum: $212,500
*Additional compensation / rewards: In addition to the base salary information above, Ivalua offers an uncapped commission plan as part of the competitive compensation package. Other compensation factors may also be considered. Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement (with company match), and much more.
