Condado: HR & Payroll Coordinator
Hybrid In-Office & Remote
What You’ll Do:
The HR/Payroll Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for Team Member and Manager inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, company policies, and general HR matters. This role assists with recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes, while ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, wage calculations, and records maintenance and compliance with federal, state, and local labor and tax laws.
Job Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Answers calls/emails from employees, government agencies, and 3rd party vendors on any questions with employee checks, the payroll system, W-2's, etc.
- Assists with payroll processing on a weekly basis
- Reviews checks and payroll reports for any exceptions or errors and verifies data entry for accuracy
- Inputs, prepares, and maintains both on-cycle, and manual check data including stop payments, voids, or deposit reversals
- Assists in maintaining payroll files.
- Processes garnishment, direct deposit, and other general deduction information in the payroll system
- Provides payroll reports to other departments, for required audits, census as needed.
Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Support
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including I9 compliance/TNC
- Maintain confidential employee records and update status changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding compensation, benefits administration, and general HR policies.
- Support compliance with labor regulations, employment laws, and company policies through routine file audits.
- Benefits administration – Ensuring system accuracy
- Unemployment Administration
- Assists with full-cycle recruiting for assigned corporate and field positions, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and pre-employment activities.
- Maintains accurate applicant tracking records and ensures recruiting, and selection practices comply with applicable employment laws, internal policies, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Coordinates with HR and business leaders to support onboarding readiness and a smooth transition from accepted offer to the employees’ first day.
- Conducts regular requisition reviews with business leaders, identifies hiring risks and bottlenecks, and recommends timely solutions or escalation.

Positional Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration and human resources support.
