Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with service providers and tax team members to prepare, review, and assess quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions and FIN 48 uncertain tax position requirements for the Company's foreign entities.
- Support the implementation and ongoing compliance of SOX 404 tax-related internal controls associated with quarterly and annual tax provision processes.
- Respond to quarterly and annual audit inquiries and provide technical analysis and supporting documentation for tax accounting positions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax provision entries, tax accounting analyses, and tax disclosures included in local GAAP statutory financial statements for foreign entities.
- Coordinate with service providers and the accounting team to ensure the timely preparation, review, and filing of corporate income tax returns and estimated tax payments for foreign entities.
- Review and analyze corporate income tax returns and related filings for foreign entities, including assessing significant tax positions, identifying technical issues, and ensuring appropriate documentation of filing positions.
- Perform return-to-provision (RTP) analyses, including reconciliations, identification and analysis of material adjustments, supporting documentation, and preparation of related journal entries.
- Support the management of international tax audits and tax authority inquiries, including responding to information requests, conducting technical research, and assessing potential tax exposures.
- Analyze and document intercompany transactions and operating structures to support transfer pricing compliance and identify potential tax risks.
- Prepare and review OECD Transfer Pricing Master Files, Local Files, benchmarking studies, and intercompany agreements to ensure alignment with the Company's transfer pricing policies.
- Prepare technical analyses and supporting documentation related to OECD and international tax requirements, including BEPS Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and EU Public CbCR compliance.
- Monitor international tax legislation, regulatory developments, and tax authority guidance, assess their impact on the Company, and support management in evaluating potential tax consequences and opportunities.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent educational background.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international tax, tax accounting, corporate taxation, public accounting, or a related finance function.
- Significant experience with ASC 740 tax provision reporting, international tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax accounting requirements.
- Experience managing external service providers, auditors, and tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience supporting multinational organizations and complex cross-border tax structures preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP and financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Experience with tax provision, compliance, and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and evaluate financial and tax impacts.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, perform reconciliations, and prepare detailed technical documentation.
