As an HVAC Tune-Up Technician , you'll perform seasonal maintenance and system inspections that keep HVAC systems running efficiently and reliably, catching small problems before they turn into costly repairs. Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment
Inspect, clean, and adjust components such as condensers, blowers, coils, and filters
Diagnose potential issues during tune-ups and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements
Educate customers on system performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices, communicating clearly to build trust
Document work performed, system condition, and recommendations for each job
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe, clean, working condition, following EPA and HVAC safety codes
Assist with emergency service calls or installations as needed

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of HVAC trade school or technical program preferred
Experience
1-2 years of HVAC experience in maintenance, service, or related roles
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance practices
Licenses/Certifications
EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE certification preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete jobs efficiently
Physical Demands and Conditions
Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
Work performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights
Work Environment/Travel
Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites
May require evening, weekend, or overtime shifts
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
