AX9 Security is seeking a reliable Security Officer to cover a site located in Garden City, NY. We are looking for a dependable individual who can consistently report to work on time, maintain reliable attendance, and cover assigned shifts without issues. Candidates with reliable transportation are strongly preferred.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence at the assigned location.
- Remain standing throughout the assigned shift, as required by the post.
- Monitor the premises and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, and security concerns.
- Follow all site-specific procedures, company policies, and post orders.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and site management.
- Wear the required police-style security uniform in full detail, ensuring a neat, professional, and compliant appearance.
Qualifications
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of a standing post.
- Must wear the complete, approved police-style security uniform.
- Reliable transportation is strongly preferred to ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
- Must be available for full-time or part-time scheduling, depending on site needs.
