In this technical role, you will set up, program, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce high-precision machined parts. We are searching for an operator with strong job longevity who excels at blueprint reading, tool adjustments, precision measurement, and surface/I.D. grinding techniques.

CNC Machine Operator Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the flawless setup, operation, and quality inspection of CNC equipment , ensuring all components strictly match blueprint specifications and EQQ (Environmental, Quality, and Quantity) standards. CNC Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, program, adjust, and operate CNC machinery according to customer work orders and job specifications. Precision Inspection: Perform routine quality checks on machined parts using micrometers, calipers, protractors, shadowgraphs, and precision gauges. Grinding & Tooling Maintenance: Perform surface grinding, I.D. grinding, chamfering, and track circular chasers and fette rolls to ensure optimal tool life and part finish. Equipment Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, adjust offsets/settings, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and maintain equipment. Production Data Entry: Accurately document production data, tool counts, scrap rates, and process updates using computer controls and tracking software. Workspace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work cell while following all facility safety and environmental guidelines.

CNC Machine Operator Requirements include: Required Machining Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience setup, programming, and operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment. Proven Work History Longevity: A strict track record of job stability with 2+ years of continuous tenure at EACH previous job is required. Technical Inspection Skills: Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, shadowgraphs, and reading complex engineering blueprints. Grinding & Tooling Knowledge: Experience with surface grinding, I.D. grinding, chamfering, or specialized tooling setup is highly preferred. Shift & Training Availability: Full commitment to complete initial onboarding on 1st Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) before transitioning to 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:00pm – 7:30am) . Physical Capabilities: Physical stamina to stand, stoop, bend, climb, walk for 8+ hours, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Education & Computer Literacy: High School Diploma or GED required; computer proficiency for machine control operation and production tracking.
