Meet the Team

Join the Supply Chain Trade and Logistics IT at Cisco and help drive innovation in our Supply Chain IT systems. You will be part of an experienced team responsible for continuously enhancing, maintaining, and evolving the Oracle Trade Management system to support changing global trade requirements.

You will work closely with trade compliance business and IT teams to ensure the system remains aligned with current global trade regulations, sanctions, tariffs, and trade restrictions. The team plays a critical role in responding quickly to changes in the global trade environment by configuring and implementing new regulatory requirements within the Oracle Trade Management System to ensure the organisation remains compliant with applicable global trade policies.

Your Impact

As an experienced Software Engineer with domain expertise, you possess a deep passion for solving complex business problems. You are required to partner with Trade Compliance business stakeholders to understand regulatory changes and translate them into effective system configurations and solutions. You thrive in collaborative settings, working effectively with stakeholders to deliver growth and value across projects.

- Possesses strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for cross-functional team success.
- Participate in testing, validation, development, and ongoing support of trade compliance system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solutions to minimise business and compliance risk.
- Continuously improve the Trade Management platform to increase automation, efficiency, and responsiveness to regulatory changes.
- Design, develop, and optimise in-app and role-based AI Agents with secure, scalable semantic layers, multi-agent protocols, and agent training features.
- Lead implementation of agentic frameworks (langraph, langchain, LLMs) to enable robust Ask/Respond capabilities using enterprise data sources
- An expert in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile engineering practices, staying current with industry trends.
- A skilled troubleshooter who performs root cause analysis and implements fixes for complex production issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ OR Master’s with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Global Trade Management system
- Proficient in GTM, GTM Agents, saved Queries/conditions, Screen sets, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, and web service integrations.
- Design and implement technical solution in Oracle Global Trade management (GTM)
- Experience integrating GTM with ERP and other boundary systems
- Work with xml, JSON, REST/SOAP API, web services, and integration frameworks
- Strong trade/functional knowledge of import/export compliance, restricted-party screening, Compliance Screening, product/HTS classification, country of origin, trade agreements, licence management, Custom and trade transactions, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, and DevOps
- Practical experience using GenAI tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development work
- Hands-on experience building MCP tools, Servers, and Agents.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Working experience on Prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG / AI-assisted automation
- Relevant certifications in Oracle, Cloud technologies, and AI/ML.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure is plus
- Experience with REACT, RPA technologies, Mongo, Snowflake
- Proficiency in Generative AI (Gen AI Green Belt), MCP tools and Data Science & Security Green Belts
