As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage customer accounts, develop business opportunities, and support revenue growth within your assigned territory. You will create account strategies, maintain customer relationships, and oversee commercial projects from initial briefs through product launch. You will also collaborate with technical, commercial, and regional teams to support customer goals and performance.

You Will Report To : Sales Director

Your Responsibilities

- Identify new business opportunities to support revenue growth and expand Givaudan's market presence.

- Manage assigned customer accounts to achieve sales and gross profit targets while maintaining existing business.

- Develop Annual Development Plans (ADPs) for main accounts, aligning customer needs with goals.

- Analyze customer brand strategies, market trends, competitive activity, and account performance to identify growth opportunities.

- Position Givaudan for participation in customer briefs, development projects, and approved supplier programs.

- Manage commercial projects and customer brief pipelines in collaboration with Technical and Support teams.

- Coordinate customer submissions and follow successful projects through production and product launch.

- Maintain customer relationships through account meetings, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.

- Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines and profitability goals.

- Collaborate with regional leadership and team members on account strategies, business planning, and customer projects.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to account managers or support staff when assigned.

Your Professional Profile Includes

- University degree.

- 6–8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer relationship management within the food or a related industry.

- 5+ years of experience managing customer accounts, developing business opportunities, and supporting revenue growth.

- Experience developing account strategies, business plans, and customer development initiatives.

- Knowledge of sales processes, marketing strategies, product positioning, and customer relationship management.

- 5+ years of experience analyzing customer data, market trends, and competitive activity to support our decisions.

- Experience negotiating pricing agreements and contracts while considering profitability objectives.

- Experience managing commercial projects, customer briefs, and teams.

- Familiarity with account management software, project tracking tools, and data analysis applications.

- Experience mentoring team members and collaborating with regional and senior partners.

Compensation and Benefits

The established salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and a high-matching 401(k) retirement plan.
