Job Summary:
The Terrain Park Assistant Manager is responsible for developing and executing on all elements of terrain park operations at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This position will work closely with Sr. Manager of Mountain Operations to develop overall terrain park strategy and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the terrain park department. This position will also work in partnership with various stakeholders to deliver on results that align with strategic operational goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in hiring, training. Schedules and manages the performance of department staff to meet the goals of this department.
- Lead and collaborate in snowmaking progression tactics and other project management.
- Provide coordination and operational support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage safety and guest service expectations with all operations in the department, including but not limited to; snowmobile use, grooming policies, and use of tools and equipment.
- Responsible for the adherence of the terrain parks teams to all safety protocols of the resort and department
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- High school diploma
- Expert level skier
- 2+ years of mountain operations experience
- 2 + years of supervisory experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office / MS Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of organization, attention to detail and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, ambitious and multi-tasker.
Preferred:
- College degree
The expected pay range is $25.00/h $35.20/h. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
