Social Media Expert
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, curate, and publish platform-native content, including copy, images, graphics, and videos.
- Support social media account launches and maintain accurate, up-to-date social profile information aligned with brand guidelines.
- Maintain monthly and quarterly content calendars, coordinate publishing schedules with brand teams and creative agencies, and optimize content formats, cadence, and performance across social media platforms.
- Manage daily community engagement by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions.
- Monitor conversations, maintain brand reputation, and escalate sensitive topics according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Medical/Regulatory, Creative, and Media Activation teams to ensure content compliance.
- Monitor social media performance, track KPIs, prepare monthly reports, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Support small paid social initiatives and performance optimization.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience managing brand social media channels, preferably with an organic-first approach.
- Proven experience developing and publishing social media content, supported by a portfolio of previous work.
- Working knowledge of paid social media initiatives, including boosting, test budgets, audience selection, and basic optimization.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling, monitoring, and analytics tools, such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprout Social, or Meltwater.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), UTM tracking, and social media performance metrics.
- Experience in regulated industries, particularly pharmaceuticals or healthcare, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with promotional review and medical/legal/regulatory (PRT/MLR) workflows is desirable.
- Strong written communication, content creation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced English proficiency in reading and writing, with a high level of spoken English.
