Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a project site coordinator in Ottawa.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate daily concrete deliveries, truck movements, and site logistics to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, contractors, dispatch, drivers, and internal teams.
- Monitor delivery schedules, resolve operational issues, and communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Support site safety initiatives by promoting safe work practices, identifying concerns, and completing required documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records, verify orders, complete reporting requirements, and support contract compliance.
What Are We Looking For
- Strong coordination, communication, and customer service skills in a fast-paced operational or construction environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Knowledge of construction site operations, logistics, scheduling, or ready-mix concrete delivery processes.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and ensure attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are considered an asset.
Work Environment
- Project-based role located at a major construction site in Ottawa, ON.
- Combination of outdoor site work and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic construction environment.
- Regular interaction with contractors, site supervisors, drivers, dispatch personnel, and Heidelberg Materials operational teams.
- Requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
