As a member of the Global HR Technology team, the HR Technology Senior Analyst acts as a key partner between HR functions and technology. The role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into system requirements, and analyzing, configuring, testing, and deploying HR technology solutions.
Working closely with internal clients such as Recruitment and other HR functions, the Senior Analyst supports enhancements to business processes and system functionality. Examples may include configuring changes to job profiles, job descriptions, recruitment processes, offer processes, or other HR workflows. As the organization continues its transformation, this role will support multiple HR functions and initiatives and contribute to the evolution and optimization of HR technology solutions.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into HR technology solutions.
- Analyze HR processes and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Analyze new system functionality and make recommendations regarding implementation.
- Support the continuous evolution and improvement of Workday.
- Configure, test, and deploy new functionality and enhancements based on business requirements.
- Support HR technology needs across multiple functional areas and participate in ongoing transformation initiatives.
- Support activities related to the annual HR cycle in Workday.
- Troubleshoot reported issues and provide second-level internal support.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR data and applications through analysis, documentation, testing, and problem resolution.
- Comply with reporting guidelines established by the Global HR Technology team.
- Maintain appropriate information and documentation to support internal audit requirements.
- Participate in Workday Community and relevant user groups.
- Manage assigned initiatives or project deliverables with initiative and autonomy.
- Communicate system solutions, recommendations, and technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Participate in a structured onboarding approach, including working with an assigned buddy and contributing to an active technical or business initiative to learn the team’s methodology and configuration practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- College or university degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience working with SaaS HR management systems.
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into HR technology solutions.
- Experience configuring, testing, or supporting HR systems and business processes.
- Understanding of HR and payroll concepts and processes.
- Customer-oriented approach with the ability to understand internal client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across different functional areas and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently on assigned deliverables.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday.
- Experience with more than one HR technology platform or functional area, including systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft.
- Broad HR technology experience across multiple modules or HR processes.
- Experience supporting HR technology transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience independently managing projects, initiatives, or technical workstreams.
