About this role
The Course Products Specialist is a hands-on content creator responsible for building and uploading to the LMS the digital training experiences that support the Ready for Work (RFW) initiative—a large-scale effort to deliver hundreds of concise, performance-focused self-paced eLearning-style CBTs.
This role is central to the development and deployment of the eLearning microlessons, working directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract operational knowledge and translate it into engaging, modular digital content using digital tools like Articulate Storyline. The Course Products Specialist coordinates with the Learning and Development Specialist on the content translation process from instructor led presentations to self-paced CBT modules, owns the end-to-end creation of these microlessons, ensuring they are accurate, and meet the training objectives of the RFW program for technician onboarding, compliance, and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing multiple self-paced eLearning-style CBTs that are clear, interactive, and scalable.
- Collaborating with SMEs to gather and validate technical and procedural content.
- Applying best practices in digital learning design, accessibility, and performance support.
- Using AI-enhanced tools and digital credentialing systems to streamline development and learner tracking.
Managing multiple content development streams while maintaining consistency and quality.
This position requires a detail-oriented, self-directed professional with strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into impactful digital learning experiences that directly support workforce readiness.
