Role Overview:
The Data & AI Engineer will help build and support data pipelines, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities. This is an entry-level role for someone who wants to develop hands-on skills in data engineering, cloud platforms, and applied AI while working with experienced engineers and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines. • Write SQL and Python code to process, validate, and prepare data. • Help organize data into trusted, reusable datasets for reporting and analytics. • Support data quality checks, issue investigation, and pipeline monitoring. • Assist with developing and testing AI and machine learning solutions. • Work with cloud services and tools for data storage, processing, and model development. • Document data flows, code, and technical processes. • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business partners. • Follow established standards for data security, governance, and software development. Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Foundational experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience. • Understanding of databases, data structures, and basic data processing concepts. • Interest in cloud data platforms and artificial intelligence. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to a cloud platform such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure. • Familiarity with data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, or orchestration tools. • Experience with Git and basic software development practices. • Exposure to machine learning concepts or AI tools. • Familiarity with data quality, metadata, or data governance concepts.

The pay range for this position is $71,900 to $103,350. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
