Pay Rate: $20.60 per hour

STAR, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Group Home Manager to support daily operations at one of our group homes, apartments, or supported living settings. What You'll Do as an Assistant Group Home Manager

As an Assistant Group Home Manager, you will work alongside the House Manager to help maintain a safe, supportive, and well-organized home environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring that individuals receive the assistance and services they need while promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating medical appointments and helping ensure follow-up care is completed.

- Assisting with the management and monitoring of individuals' personal finances.

- Supporting medication administration in accordance with required certifications and agency procedures.

- Helping implement and follow each individual's established service plan.

- Providing assistance with personal care, grooming, and hygiene as needed.

- Working with the House Manager to maintain appropriate staffing levels and arrange coverage when necessary.

- Contributing to the daily operations of the home and supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the individuals who live there.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver's license.

- At least two years of experience in a group home, residential services, or a comparable setting.

- A compassionate, person-centered approach and a belief in each individual's abilities and potential.

- Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take initiative.

Schedule

Full-time position. Availability to work every other weekend is required.
