RCS is seeking a Bureau Liaison - Technical Account Manager to be the primary strategic and operational bridge between government organizations (such as the Department of the U.S. Treasury) and technology vendors. This role is responsible for overseeing telecommunications infrastructure initiatives, conducting requirements analysis, managing telecom ordering, and driving the deployment of enterprise-level network solutions. The ideal candidate will blend project management expertise with technical acumen to modernize enterprise communications, manage risk, and ensure seamless service delivery across on-premises and cloud environments.

This position requires the candidate to meet specific Security Clearance obligations to work remote in Washington, DC.

What you will do:

- Government & Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary Technical Account Manager (TAM), coordinating cross-functional efforts between government personnel, engineers, vendors, and contractors to align infrastructure projects with organizational mission goals.
- Infrastructure & Telecom Management: Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise-level LAN/WAN circuits and data center systems, from initial requirements analysis and ordering through deployment, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Cloud & Network Modernization: Drive digital transformation by championing the adoption and integration of new cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and modern enterprise communications systems.
- Project Management & Execution: Lead project planning, scheduling, and risk management for complex circuit migrations and network cutovers, ensuring seamless execution with minimal service disruption.
- Process Engineering: Develop, standardize, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT network upgrades, telecom ordering, and system migrations.
- Performance & Compliance: Ensure all network deployments and upgrades adhere to strict performance, security, and scalability requirements, ultimately improving overall IT system reliability.

Required Qualifications/Education:

- Clearance: Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

- U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)

- Proven experience in technical project management, specifically within IT network infrastructure, telecommunications, or enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
- Demonstrated success acting as a liaison or Technical Account Manager between federal government agencies and technology vendors/contractors.
- Experience managing complex circuit migrations, data center upgrades, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure).
- Strong analytical skills for gathering and translating technical infrastructure requirements into actionable procurement and deployment plans.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams of technical and non-technical personnel.

- Master's degree with 10 years of experience.

The salary range listed for this position is a reasonable estimate taking into consideration the required qualifications.

RCS encourages external referrals and offers a referral bonus after a successful hire. This will be paid 90 days after the new hire's start date. Bonus amounts vary based on the skill level and position of the referred candidate and are provided in the form of a gift certificate.
